Interior Design Consultants

I want to be an interior designer when I am older. What type of schooling and such will I have to go through?
I am 13, and ever since I was 10, I have loved interior design. I watch HGTV a lot, and I am working on completing the design of a home on my computer that I have designed myself. I have a bunch of questions, and if you could answer them, I will be very grateful.
1. What type of school will I have to go to? Can you give any examples of good interior design schools? (college)
2. What can I do in interior design? What are the possible career options? (Consultant for another company, start my own business, etc.)
3. Is there anything I can do now to get involved with this career path, like any programs I can sign up for?
4. If you are an interior designer, what did you do to launch your career? How much money did you make at the start of your career, as opposed to now?
Thanks!!
Well I’m not sure where your from but if you are able to study in Toronto, Sheridan College is a great school, I’m a recent grad of the Interior Design program. In order to consider your self an “Interior Designer” you must first complete school which is 3-4 years depending on if you obtain a diploma or degree. Then you need to complete an apprenticeship as a “Junior Designer” which will take between 2-3 more years. Once school and apprenticeships are completed you must pass an examination to be considered an “Interior Designer”.
There are many options in which way to go from residential to commercial, restaurant or healthcare, lighting design or office there are many possibilities.
I suggest taking drawing classes cause it will help you alot in the field.
Good Luck!

Wildlife Habitat Birdbath w Glazed Interior $109.95 Wildlife Habitat Birdbath with Glazed Interior Old World Style and Craftsmanship Through gardening, we are able to express our connection with the environment, find hope and peace in the appreciation of beauty, and feel a sense of reward. This new design portrays the tangle of a natural wildlife habitat. Urban sprawl continues to decrease and remove natural areas for important species of birds, reptiles, insects, and animals. We can help change this loss and invite the beauty and pleasure of wildlife into our yards by planting trees, shrubs, conifers, grasses, and wildflowers that provide food sources with berries, nuts, nectar, and fruits. These same plantings will provide protection and nesting sites. Providing fresh water sources in birdbaths or low-lying water gardens is also helpful.
